We understood the system of education which lacked certain standards. It is observed that students generally wasted their precious time in following a modern trend of so called – ATTENDING TUITION CLASSES IN THE COACHING CENTRES opened at every NOOK AND CORNER  of the town where teachers without any professional degree gave knowledge on the basis of just a ‘HIT AND TRIAL METHOD’. We promise the students to provide them with adequate knowledge in our school, where the students needn’t go to any other coaching centre for tuitions to clarify their doubts. We discourage students to attend tuition as we provide them with a ‘BEST EDUCATION’ at school along with Audio-Visual aids and latest methodology of teaching techniques.

GURUKUL SR. SEC. SCHOOL is centrally located NEAR RED CROSS BUILDING in the heart of the town DHARAMSHALA. The altitude of the town varies between 1,250 meters to 1,650 meters. Almost of each and every part of the state is linked to Dharamshala by ROAD, RAIL AND AIR TRANSPORT.

GURUKUL SR. SEC SCHOOL is affiliated to the H.P. BOARD OF SCHOOL EDUCATION. Gurukul offers admission for XI and XII SCIENCE AND COMMERCE classes only.

Historical Background

A sound and basic education is the very backbone of a child’s personality. Years of combined experience of teachers and experts have demonstrated that there is no substitute for classroom learning and grounding in traditional academic discipline. With rapid progress in quality of education and competition, the residents of  Dharamshala realized the importance of providing  the child academic discipline with scientific temper.

Dharamshala being a beautiful small town was left with little choice of good educational institutions, which provided competition oriented education. More over it became a hardship for the parents to guide their children, after the completion of Xth standard. Sending the children to the other parts of the country for higher education- seemed to be the solution of this problem. But solution of one problem gave rise to another problem - “WASTAGE OF TIME, MONEY AND ALSO ENERGY”. To make the situation worse it gave rise to inferiority complex amongst the students from this small town while competing with others outside

Realization of this basic problem let to a small step of launching BRC, A REPUTED COMPETITION INSTITUTE TO PROVIDE QUALITY EDUCATION IN THE HOME TOWN OF THE STUDENTS.   

BRC -  ‘Wings To The Dream’

BRC (Business research centre) was the reputed professional coaching institute it was launched in the year 2000 with a mission to provide quality education to the students of the region. The students of the area had immense talent and brilliance but what lacked was proper guidance and orientation which was the only thing in their way of success. BRC helped to prepare ambitious students for appearing in competitive examination through 200 days – CRASH COURSES IN PET, CET, MBA, REC, PMT etc. All the students got this golden opportunity to learn lessons from the scratch to competitive language. During these courses, it was found that basic concepts of the students were not clear, so an initiative was carried out to improve the quality of the education – saving the time, money and energy of the students. And therefore BRC took the shape of GURUKUL – an educational institution with the motive – “CARRYING FORWARD AN ANCIENT TRADITION OF WISDOM”.

GURUKUL is an outcome of BRC (Business Research Centre). GURUKUL SR. SEC. SCHOOL came into existence in the YEAR – 2002. During the process of coaching in BRC, it was found that most of the students were weak in fundamental knowledge. To overcome such drawback . it was decided to commence +1 and +2 class, hence GURUKUL  came into existence and the success story begun. GURUKUL was established with the mission of empowering the students to be companionate, responsive to our culture and heritage along with becoming an academically excellent holistic person with a scientific temper in an environment of sharing and caring.
