Gurukul School has beautiful well-furnished, spacious, interiors with wall to wall carpet, a conducive and healthy environment. Each room is well-ventilated; having curtains, fans, exhaust-fans, tube lights, well fitted electrical appliances and comfortable benches for the students.

 

School Reception – The visitors are welcome at school reception room where one can  get information of the school. The visitors may wait at school reception room to meet the school authorities.

 

Front Office– The School has its own front office where meetings between visitors and school authorities take place

 

Conference Room– The meetings between the staff and the management are carried out in the conference room.

Six spacious well ventilated classrooms with seating capacity of 30 students.

 

 

 

School Uniform

 For Boys – full sleeved tie – collar sky blue shirt with prescribe dark blue trousers, white socks, black shoes, neck scarf / tie (scarves / ties will be available at school office)

 

For Girls -  Mauve coloured shirt with collar cuffs and loops on shoulders with mauve Salwar and (white / mauve doubled dyed) duppatta, white socks and black shoes, neck scarf (scarves will be available at school office).

 

Dress Code For Staff – Gurukul school emphasises uniformity to be maintained

by students as well as the staff. Teachers are directed to dress in a modest manner so that we can highlight the importance of : ‘SIMPLE LIVING AND HIGH THINKING’ Uniformity among the staff keeps them bonded to their duty. Grey blazers are prescribed for male and female staff.

Recommendations For Guardians

Please go through all communication from the school carefully. Ensure basis minimum comforts to  your ward to peruse his self study such as a table, a chair and a lamp table, as far as possible. Keep in touch with the Principal and other teachers to know the progress of your ward from time to time. Intimate any changes of your address, Telephone etc. immediately. You are requested to participate in all parents-teacher association meetings.

TWO SPACIOUS HALLS, each with seating capacity of 70 students for the purpose of Audio-Visual teachings, for the purpose of using projector and for conducting lectures / seminars.

 

Admission Grant System / Provisional Classes

 

TO CLASS XI Before declaration of the 10th class result, provisional admission will be given on first come first serve bases.

 PROVISIONAL CLASSES – would start immediately after the completion of 10th class examinations and before the declaration of its results.  This short time span helps the students to assess their caliber in Science stream. This time period also give opportunity to the students to analysis the teaching strategy and methodology of the school. Students thus have sufficient time to change their decisions and also to start their wide-syllabus timely.

 

TO CLASS XII -  Automatic admission is given  first to the students of the school. Thereafter, the vacant seats are given for new admissions on merit basis to those registering by a fixed date.

 

           DOCUMENT REQUIRED TO BE ATTACHED ALONG WITH ADMISSION FORM

1)        Photocopy of school leaving certificate (original must be personally produced)

2)        Three passport size photograph

3)        Migration / Transfer certificate

 

School  Timings

The School timings will remain from 8:00 a.m. To  3:30 p.m.

The School timings may exceeds as per the requirement of conducting PRACTICALS and EXTRA CLASSES.

 

School Time Table

1. School timings – 8:00 a.m. To 3:30 p.m.

2. 80 minutes per lecture (45 Minutes for delivering lecture and 35 Minutes for assessing their performance by conducting daily test / clearing doubts and concepts)

3. Timings may exceeds as per the requirements conducting practicals and extra classes

 

 

Daily School Routine

1. 8:00 a.m. To 8:15 a.m. – MORNING ASSEMBLY

2. 8:15 a.m. To 8:30 a.m. – ZERO PERIOD FOR ATTENDANCE

3. Class room studies begin till 12:15 p.m.

4. Refreshment break for 30 Minutes at 12:15 p.m.

5. Classes resume from 12:45 p.m. To 3:30 p.m.

6. Duration of School hours may be longer during conducting practicals and extra classes.

 

 

Faculty  Members

1. Staff at Gurukul is well educated and highly qualified, they are handpicked faculty who are masters in their own field.

2. Gurukul provides double staff (Two lecturer for each subjects)

3. Each lecturer have minimum five years of teaching experience

4. Staff : student ratio is 1:20. School tries to give as much personal attention as possible. To facilitate this purpose the staff : student ratio is maintained at 1:20.

 

Teacher And Student – An Intimate Bond

Since the teacher conduct and participate in each co-curricular activity, they have high level of interaction with the children and their relationship goes beyond that of the teacher and student. As mentors they are like parents to the child taking care of their emotional and personal needs.

 

Parents Teacher Meet

Gurukul school has a purely goodwill and friendly gesture toward the parents of all students.

It is for him/her that you are working day night to see him/her do well in life. Perhaps this is the only aim of each parents.

 

1. Parents are always welcome to our school to know the performance of their child.

2. Parents and teachers are frequently in contact with each other through PTA meet.

3. The PTA meet is generally organized after the first and second terminal examination.

4. In methodology the parents are never pressurized for the poor performance of the child.

5. Working parents are kept at ease.

6. We also lay stress on the study of child’s psychology.

7. Section – super-A, A, B and C are made according to the working capability of child.

 

Co-Curricular Activities

 

                                    ‘ALL WORK NO PLAY MAKE JACK A DULL BOY’

Gurukul does not also focus its attention on the quality education in academics but also in other co-curricular activities which help in the all round development of the students.

 

1. Students carry out activities in following groups – Alpha, Bravo, Charlie and Delta

2. On second Saturday a guest lecture by eminent academician or reputed personalities is delivered.

3. Inter-class games are organized/ Focus on outdoor and indoor games.

4. Award winning movies shown.

5. One day trips are organized to local surroundings at very nominal rates.

6. Excursion tours organized on the basis of educational tour values.

7. Debate and speech competitions conducted.

Procedure For Withdrawal

Students can be withdrawn or removed from the school as under

1)       By the parents by giving 15 days notice to the Principal in writing.

2)       By the school authorities on one of the following grounds after adequate warning to show improvements

a) Constant weakness in studies.

b) Irregularities in attendance.

c) Behavior problem.

d) Non-payment of fees or chronic irregularity in payment

e) The Principal may  suspend or require the withdrawal of any pupil after have stated the reason and provided that he/she is satisfied that such step is necessary in the interest of the school.
