Completion Of Syllabus

Provisional classes will start immediately in the month of April after completion of 10th class examinations and before the declaration of its results. This short time span helps the students to access their caliber in Science stream. This time period also gives opportunity to the students to analysis the strategy and teaching methodology of the school. Students thus have sufficient time to change their decisions and also to start their wide – syllabus timely.

 

 

1.  Syllabus starts immediately after  the final result of 10th and 11th classes, after the confirmed admissions.

 

2.  The syllabus will start from May and complete in the month of November.

 

3.  Day to day proper planning of each lesson is done by the lecturers beforehand – ‘WHAT TO TEACH ON WHAT DAY’

 

4.  Teachers are provided with the teacher’s planner (which excludes the holidays, functions, days for co-curricular activities,  examination days, revision days and risk factor days) which enables them to plan their lessons efficiently according to the time limit.

 

5.  In case the student miss their syllabus, extra help is provided through extra classes.

 

 

 

 

 

Result System

  • After conducting of tests and examination, the result on the basis of performance is prepared.  

  • Separate subject test registers maintained by the respective lecturer.

  • The result of monthly tests are declared on Friday.

  • First terminal examination are planned in the month of July.

  • Second terminal examination test are conducted in the month of December after the completion of the whole syllabus. Answer sheets may be seen by the parents in the school only. Answer sheets will not be issued.

  • Pre-Boards are conducted after the revision of the whole syllabus in the month of January.

  • All results are declared after one week of examination.

  • Staff and management meetings is conducted immediately the preparation of result, to discuss on the improvement strategy and revision lessons.

  • The parents and teacher meet follows after the declaration of result.

 

 

 

Examination System

  • To attain success, the students have read, learn and digest. The class room work is analysed through daily test and examination.

  • Daily test for each subject is conducted for 35 minutes.

  • Monthly conducted once a month for 1 hour  30 minutes.

  • First terminal examination will conducted in the month of July.

  • Second Terminal Examination will be conducted after the completion of full syllabus in the month December.

  • Pre-Boards examination will be conducted in the month of January after the completion of full syllabus revision.

Study Material

The school makes an effort to provide the students with adequate study material for thorough preparation of final examinations and also all the competitive examination.

  • Extra competitive  assignments provided.

  • Regular syllabus assignments provided.

  • Study material is provided in printed form without any extra charge.

  • Study material updated by respective subject lecturer.

Evaluation System

Gurukul is committed to provide quality education. It aims to provide overall guidance to the students

  • We have daily assessment tests from time to time, where the students get to know where they stand.

  • Daily test are aimed to check the progress of students and also opens the avenue for any improvement.

  • Monthly tests are conducted time to time.

  • First terminal examinations are conducted in the month of July.

  • Second terminal examination are conducted after the completion of the syllabus in the month of December.

  • Pre-Boards are conducted in the month of January after the completion of full syllabus revision

  • Regular meeting of the staff and management is conducted to assess the performance of the students.

  • Students who fail to give daily performance will be allotted extra time to cope up with their shortcomings.

  • Students are divided into different sections i.e  - SUPER – A, A, B AND C on the basis of the results and the requirement of hard work to be devoted by each student.

Extra Class For Revision And Weak Students

After the completion of the complete syllabus in the month November, we analyse the actual position of the students through the result attained in second terminal examination.

  • Result of each student is discussed in the staff and management meeting.

  • Revision policy and other teaching strategies are formulated for each student on the basis of his / her performance.

  • Serious revision starts after evaluation of the result of each student on the basis of his / her performance.

  • Individual attention is given to each student in order to bust up their result in the final examinations.

  • Efforts are made to prepare the students to excel and bring excellent results in the final exams throughout the state.

  • Special attention is given to the weak students.

  • Students are divided into different sections i.e.  SUPER – A, A, B AND C        

  • Weak student are allowed to stay back in school during evening/ night classes along with the lecturers.

  • Student who attend evening / night classes provided with comfortable homely atmosphere.

  • Hygienic food and comfortable lodging provided by the school at nominal charges.

  • No extra charges for any extra classes.
